TPE plastic properties:

1: Mechanical properties, styrene-based elastomers have strength and elongation at break comparable to vulcanized rubber. Its mechanical properties are: A-type Shore hardness 28-95 (higher grades are suitable for below 60 degrees); elongation at break growth rate is 250%-1300%. The working temperature is 80-100 degrees; the density is 0.9-1

2: Melt flow properties, the melt index characterizes the flow properties of the sample at a certain temperature. The larger the polystyrene phase domain, the more energy required and the more difficult the sample flow. The temperature is higher than the polystyrene phase. At the glass transition temperature, a certain amount of energy is required to flow the sample, i.e. to break the polystyrene phase and polyisoprene.

3: Thermal properties, the SBS structure has a distinct two-phase character and thus exhibits two glass transition temperatures, where the higher glass transition temperature depends on the polystyrene block, and the lower glass transition temperature depends on Polybutadiene block, therefore, SBS can also maintain a certain flexibility at low temperature, and its high use temperature can adjust different contents of S and B components within a certain range in the polymerization formulation, and the heat resistance of SEBS Sex is better than SBS.

4: Stress softening performance, stress softening refers to the traditional method of cross-linking or vulcanization of elastomers after repeated stretching. At the same elongation, lower stress will be generated. SBS block copolymers also have stress softening phenomenon, and benzene SBS block copolymers with ethylene content greater than 30% show yield point and stress softening. With the increase of styrene content, the interconnection of microdomains increased, the network structure was destroyed, and a yield point appeared. Stress softening occurs when the polystyrene segments are pulled out of the domains.

5: Environmental resistance, styrene elastomer has good environmental resistance, environmental resistance mainly refers to the performance properties and elastomer fragments degraded in the heat-resistant environment of oxygen, ozone, ultraviolet, and styrene block copolymers related. Block copolymers containing unsaturated mid-segments have environmental stability similar to polybutadiene. Block copolymers with saturated polyethylene or polypropylene mid-segments show that ethylene-propylene rubber is equally stable.
